Ahlan and Salam,
My name is Soukaina El Adak, aka Kaina. Raised and born in Darmstadt to Moroccan parents. As a multidisciplinary artist, I move fluidly between painting, performance, and textile design.
-fluid, and always evolving.
I am deeply committed to creating for those who are often unseen and underrepresented, giving voice to my people and communities that deserve to be heard. My heritage often finds its way into my work, offering subtle nods to my roots and identity.
With experience in theatre, dance in the urban scene, a schooling in textiles, and a deep love for performance, I explore the boundaries between stillness and movement, the seen and the felt. Each piece, whether performed or painted, is an invitation to step inside my world, to feel the pulse of creativity by every stroke and step.
Ultimately, my art is a dialogue between body and space, an offering to those who long to move, reflect, and connect in ways that challenge how the world sees them.
